Hi Mat
Really interesting post - I'm glad to see that someone else finds pipes useful :-)

Re: the Google spreadsheets - does the limit apply to a spreadsheet doc or a spreadsheet tab? Whichever the case, a clumsy workaround might be to pull in the XML for batches of people in different spreadsheets or tabs, and then aggregate them using the ImportRange function e.g.:

=ImportRange("SPREADSHEET KEY - IDENTIFIES ANY PUBLIC SPREADSHEET, INCL THE CURRENT ONE", "Sheet2!A2:F42")

From http://ouseful.wordpress.com/2008/10/16/visualising-financial-data-in-a-google-spreadsheet-motion-chart/ :

"What ImportRange does is pull in a range of cell values from another spreadsheet. In this case, I’m pulling in ... data from Sheet2 (but using a different spreadsheet key, I could pull in data from a different spreadsheet altogether, if I’ve made that spreadsheet public)."

Hi there! I'm the founder of TwitterCounter and enjoyed reading this post a lot. If there is anything you want to be changed or added to the API or some other part of TwitterCounter please let me know so we can help you get what you want. Which brings me to my question: what is it you want to achieve exactly?
